We are looking for a motivated, high-energy sales professional who is looking for the chance to grow with a startup team by identifying and closing new business. Responsibilities:
Actively generate leads and manage inbound and outbound prospect pipeline for our solutions. Present solutions to online advertising decision-makers across verticals, identifying opportunities, negotiating business terms and closing the deal. Own the sales cycle of prospective new clients from initial contact through campaign deployment, following up regularly on pending opportunities and live customers. Work closely with operations and business development to ensure a seamless experience for customers from start to finish. Provide feedback internally on market requirements and prospect/client priorities. Prepare overview documents, sales collateral and proposals as needed; work with VP and legal to coordinate contract and service order flow. Prepare weekly departmental reporting, including pipeline, activity, and results reporting for VP, CEO.
Requirements:
Previous experience driving sales results in an early stage startup; excited by the opportunity to introduce an innovative new solution into an ever-evolving marketplace. Accuracy and attention to detail + documentation are important as is a high-degree of self-motivation and good time management. 3+ years experience directly selling technology-based solutions for an ad network, display media, affiliate, email or search, web analytics provider, or other e-commerce/online advertising + marketing services. Industry rolodex in hand! Knows the advertisers and their agencies, and has worked with them before. Solid understanding of e-commerce, online advertising and distribution models. Confident, effective presentation and communication style - written, phone, and in person. Good technical aptitude; can present comfortably to a CTO, CMO, COO or all three. Experience with SugarCRM or Salesforce.com strongly preferred. Knowledge of basic HTML helpful. 4 year degree in business, marketing or technical discipline.
